Important Campaign Update

Thank you so much. I just got an update from Luis and the rest
of the campaign staff. As of 8:59 am this morning, we had raised
$505,487, reaching our $500,000 goal 4 days early!

Now I have a question for you -- Can we keep this going?

You can literally feel the energy the campaign is creating in
Iowa. Crowds at events are bigger than they were even 3 weeks
ago, volunteers are showing up in droves at every campaign
office, and we're seeing supporters leave other candidates to
join us as we gain traction. Iowans who understand this process

What youre accomplishing

We're almost there! We are just $7,370 dollars short of our
goal to raise $500,000 by November 16. With the backing of
supporters like you around the country, we're not only going to
meet this goal, we're going to smash through it. As someone who
has not made a contribution to our campaign yet, I'm asking for
your help to put us over the top. A contribution of $10 or $15
dollars is all it takes to help us take our message to voters.

Become a first-time contributor

The past week has been exciting for our campaign. We picked up
our 12th endorsement from a state legislator in Iowa, we
proposed a major policy change in our relationship with
Pakistan, and our field program continues to receive incredibly
positive feedback from the thousands of voters they contact
every day (seven days a week).

As I've written you this week, the polls simply do not capture
the excitement and energy we see on the ground in Iowa
everywhere we go. I can't wait to get back to the campaign trail
there in a few days to keep this going

Please read -- a major change in U.S. policy towards Pakistan

It is hard to imagine a greater nightmare for America than the
world's second-largest Muslim nation becoming a failed state in
fundamentalist hands, with an arsenal of nuclear weapons and a
population larger than those of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and
North Korea combined.

That is why, today, I delivered a major policy address to
transform our Pakistan policy from one focused solely on General
Pervez Musharraf to one that focuses on the entire country of
Pakistan.on.

I have asked my campaign to circulate this address to voters as
quickly as possible. I am asking for your help to make this

More breaking news on Iowa and Pakistan

Yesterday, I was proud to receive the endorsement of State
Senator Herman C. Quirmbach, an Associate Professor of Economics
at Iowa State University. This is our 12th endorsement from an
Iowa State Legislator.

Polls are not capturing the rapidly changing conditions on the
ground in Iowa. Our campaign is getting incredible feedback
everywhere we go and it is more important than ever that our
Iowa Field program contact voters with these developments, but I
need your help for this to happen.

Also yesterday, I talked to Pakistan's President Pervez

Breaking news from Iowa

Just a few minutes ago, David Yepsen of the Des Moines Register,
one of the top political columnists in Iowa, told Andrea
Mitchell of MSNBC exactly what we've been hearing from our Iowa
field team since Saturday. The volatile and dynamic situation in
Pakistan this week is putting a spotlight on foreign policy
experience.

The voters I meet understand that, after the damage that George
Bush and Dick Cheney have done to our standing in the world, the
next president will have no room for error.

I've ordered my entire campaign staff to send the link to this

Why we need Joe Biden in the White House

The volatile situation in Pakistan is dominating the news today.
It goes without saying that instability in a country armed with
nuclear weapons poses a major challenge for America.

Which is why you must watch the interview Joe Biden gave to Bob
Schieffer on Face the Nation yesterday. He lays out in detail
what's at stake and what he would do -- immediately -- to deal
with the problem. The interview was a masterful display of
foreign policy and again showcased why we urgently need someone
with Joe Biden's experience and knowledge in the White House.

Giuliani attacks Biden, then denies it

As I wrote earlier, we expected another attack from Giuliani's
campaign on Friday and they didn't disappoint. On a morning
radio show, Rudy Giuliani made the unbelievable claim that Joe
Biden has no foreign policy experience.

Make a contribution to help Joe keep Rudy on the run:

Host: You would say Senator Biden doesn't have foreign policy
experience?
Giuliani: Has he ever been in the State Department? Has he ever
been an executive? It's one thing...it's one thing to speak
about what you want or even pass laws about it. It's another

NEW VIDEO: Biden-Giuliani Round 3

Round 3. Yesterday, Rudy Giuliani took another cheap swipe at
Joe Biden in a morning press conference. But later in the day,
Joe Biden again showed why he is far and away the best candidate
to take on Republicans next year.

While casually walking down the street in New Hampshire and
eating a sandwich, Senator Biden completely and utterly blew
Giuliani's national security credentials out of the water.

Don't believe me? Watch the video:

We fully expect another gutter attack from the Giuliani camp
today. But we're not backing down. You can stand with Joe Biden
