Barack Obama spoke about changing health care in America in Newport News, Virginia on October 4, 2008.

One of the reasons that John McCain's campaign doesn't want to talk about the economy is that they don't want to answer for what the last eight years of failed Bush-McCain policies have done to our economy and our workforce. Today the Obama-Biden campaign released a web video demonstrating the cost of those policies, and why we can't afford four more years of the Bush-McCain economy:

Obama-Biden Spokesman Bill Burton released the following statement today, in response to the McCain's campaign's admission that their new strategy is to distract the American public from the current economic situation:

Today, the Obama-Biden campaign released a third 30 second TV ad, “One Word,” which highlights that while John McCain promises a healthcare tax credit, but doesn’t tell you that for the first time ever, he will make you pay taxes on your healthcare benefits.

"One Word" will begin airing in key states across the country on Monday.
