Fox & Friends Think this is bad for Obama

The expert analysts/hosts of Fox & Friends, Fox News morning show, loved talking about this video this morning, wondering if it hurts Obama... though they think it is the right demographic.

Of course, they barely mentioned that the Obama campaign had NOTHING to do with it.

This is a great example of how the internet is a chaotic message environment, where candidates cannot hope to control the message completely. And how partisan media can subtly (or not so subtly) suggest there is more there than is actually there.

Of interesting note, the video is not on YouTube, it is on Revver, a Technorati top 200 blog. The video already has 5,800 views since it was posted on June 11, but I imagine the Fox story will drive that up significantly. Check back for updates....

Is the Surge Over?

Nearly 40 minutes have past since my last update and the views are steady at 5951 (though for some reason the half dozen or so refreshes I did are not registering).

Another 390 views

It is 9:09am, about an hour and a half since the Fox & Friends story aired and the number of views jumped another 390 to 6,341. That is a total of 510 views since the story aired. (Note: Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc (after the fact, therefore because of the fact) is not a sufficient basis for determining causality)

You ALL are hillarious!

I've watched FoxNEWs pretty much since its inception. Never has a so-called "news" channel showed more skin than Fox. Fox-n-Friends is among the worst offenders. "Does this video hurt Obama," they ask. As if all the church-going mothers in the world are watching their show for it's moral compass (and skin)! What a joke! You know it's true.

Hey I know, she should get $39,000,000,000 for that unofficial video!!! Right.

******

I know why you ALL hate Obama so much. He's a genuine Christian Progressive, and you can't successfully stick him with the SP label. It doesn't stop you from trying, but the fact remains, the SP label doesn't stick.

When Obama says things like he'll stay in Afghanistan and get that job done right (like the neo-con Clinton/Bush camp FAILED to do), you squirm. When he goes on to say that he'll INCREASE the DoD budget to make up for Halliburton's LOOTING of the DoD, you get antsy. When he speaks at Church about the Sermon on the Mount, with the sincerity of an honest believer, you get down-right scared.

No longer can the fallacy that all Christians support Republicans and their kick-backs to the wealthy hold up. The light is being shown on the lies, and the lies are running away like the cock-roaches they are!

No longer can the cabal of Republican "stone-throwers" and Democratic "patsies" control the debate. Obama's got a message to which Americans are flocking. Why? Not because some schmuck setup a MySpace page, or because some underwear flaunting twenty-something shows some skin, but because Obama has a message of service and hope, which he brings to the table with ethics, dignity, and grace.

David ALL, you're the worst of the worst for spinning lies and calling them truths. I hope you can find that needle for your camel!

Here's the (official) video which Fox "show me more skin, Billed O'intheshower" News WON'T show:

I wonder why...

Video on YouTube too

Just to show the remarkable advantage YouTube has over the other streaming video sites, this same clip now has 419,000 views on YouTube.

I posted the YouTube clip Wednesday afternoon on Breaking Blue. It was uploaded just hours earlier to YouTube, and had only 222 views when I made that entry.
