Though I would have more to say about the clear attempt to ignore your request by TechCrunch, I think another issue is a stake here that applies to government issues within technology, a subject that seems to apply to the TechPresident interests. That issue is copyright law and how it is affecting the internet and its use. Though I would like to say it is important to have these rights as a creator to protect works published on the internet, at the same time, in today's world it seems almost useless to establish these rights as they are nearly impossible to enforce (except in clear cases like yours). Where this applies more is to the the issue that has been created with the use of DRM, and other such protections of digital media that make it harder for users to access content, not easier. As someone learning to be part of en ever changing music industry, it would be nice to see Presidential candidates, or at least new steps in governmental policy, that would put an end to the debate over DRM and other such protections as they inhibit the full use of the internet.
