With Facebook and it's users who have been around for a while, it is not surprising to see it reach 1 Million before my.BO.

What is also interesting is to see that two days ago 926.000 had taken the time to sign up for an account with my.BO instead of just staying with their facebook.

I do wonder if when the general becomes closer and closer to November if we are going to see group messages starting to come out and mass emails across the board from all of BO accounts (On a side note I wonder if this would qualify as the largest series of mass messages from a political candidate).

I think it's interesting that he has more supporters on Facebook than on his internal social network - which is considered very successful for a non-public network. This article from 2 days ago puts my.BO at 926,000 while the Facebook page had 946,568.

Barack Obama is about to get his one millionth fan. The Democratic candidate's official Facebook page saw a sharp increase right around when Sen. Clinton dropped out earlier this month, and has climbed steadily since. Lucky #1,000,000 will arrive tonight.
