I think Evanescence's music can be cheesy, but the images the editor put to the music were powerful & moving.
There is nothing cheesy about the horrors of war.

Oh, and here your winning video for next week:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Vm3aIoD-aE

If a 72 year old white republican from Texas can inspire hip hop artists from the deep south to write songs & videos, winning the white house should be no problem :-)

I think our criticism and praise runs pretty much across the board. We're not downplaying Paul's citizen movement by saying a video was over the top... we're criticizing the video. And, in my opinion, it was pretty cheesy.

Ron Paul is the only one

Ron Paul is the only one with the balls to fight the establishment
people are losing their jobs, their homes, while the corrupt goverment intentionally drops the dollar to fill the pockets
of wall street corps who are selling wall street to Dubai which if you follow the money leads right to Bush and Cheney. Soon everyone will be being tasered for even thinking against the Bush Regime WAKE UP AMERICA were losing our country.

Once again, the editors attempt to smear Ron Paul

The bias on this blog is over the top.

Instead of praising the community driven creative effort for Ron Paul, they attempt to belittle a powerful, moving video.

I find it ironic that in the #1 video slot questions "Can your film change the world" while completely missing the boat that concerned citizens across America are using their creative energy to create AMAZING videos and which are actually affecting the outcome of the election of the president of the worlds superpower.

Don't take my word for it, look at the work of this single youtube user:
http://youtube.com/user/aravoth

Best Political Web Videos of the Week

It's that time again, when we present our favorite political videos of the week. Some have gone or will go viral, and some will fall by the wayside. But all of them hit some kind of political or cultural note that proves the ever-increasing influence of online video. Sometimes videos come from the ground up and grab the mainstream media’s attention, like the video of University of Florida student Andrew Meyer getting tasered. But sometimes a video comes from big media first, like Sally Field getting cut off by Fox as she gave an anti-war speech at the Emmys.

Meanwhile, Rudy Giuliani and his critics continue to fight via video, a Ron Paul supporter goes over top with a video in support of the Texan candidate, and there’s much love for the intertubes.

Have a favorite video? Send it to us at techpres AT personaldemocracy DOT com.
