Mike Takes on Rivals
In National Iowa Debates

Democratic Presidential
candidate and former U.S. Senator Mike Gravel will be appearing in two national
debates in early December while campaigning in Iowa.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, the
Senator will be at the Iowa Brown & Black Presidential Forum [http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=0012ZrlNFwKGXCFJLnW95osPRaX9E4as_AUljLvJUzWOpEwTEKggHXiql8TROOgTjNNQ9oyXN6_8b3QwqSOgv59pnuQETyX1EvyfcMjcORPI-HsMuOP-8abpg==]at
North High
School in Des Moines.
The debate starts at 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET) and will be aired live on HDnet, the
country's
largest high-definition television network.

It will be moderated by Michele Norris, host of National
Public Radio's "All Things Considered," and Ray Suarez, senior correspondent for
PBS's "The NewsHour with Jim
Lehrer." There will also be a preview show beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT hosted by Dan
Rather, Global Correspondent for HDNet's "Dan Rather Reports."
